 sw : swear
* Setting the time limited in 2 minutes
The group with more correct words wins the game

RELATIVE CLAUSE with PREPOSITIONS
Pre practice:
* Writing some pairs of sentences on B/B and asking the students to work in pairs to joint into one sentence
1. The man is Tom’s teacher. He is talking to him.
2. The song is by Tran Tien. You are listening to it.
* Introducing the students to the new way by putting preposition before relative pronouns WHICH or WHOM
1. The man to whom he is talking is Tom’s teacher.
2. The song to which you’re listening is by Tran Tien
* Noting the students :
+ A relative pronoun can be the object of a preposition.
+ In formal English: we can put the preposition before whom or which . We can’t leave out whom or which here, and we can’t use who or that
+ In informal English: the preposition can come after the verb or the object of the verb. We can also leave out the relative pronoun. (Whom is formal and rather old-fashioned. In everyday speech we often use who)
* Working in pairs and jointing the sentences
