- Give sts some sentences and ask them to give the correct form of the verb in the brackets. (poster)

- Get some sts to go to the b.b to do 
- Remark, explain and correct

1/ The simple present tense (poster)

2/ The present progressive tense (poster)
a- Form :
- Affirmative: S + am/is/are + Ving

b- usages : The present progressive express 
- an action / activity that is in the progress (happening) 
At the moment of speaking
Ex: They are studying at the library now.

2/ The past perfect tense (poster)
a- Form :

b- usages : The past perfect tense expresses
- an action / activity that completed before an action / activity t in the past.
Ex: when he had done his homework, he went to bed.

- Grammar :
* Cleft sentences :
- We can use emphatic form (It is/ was  that) to emphasize what we want to emphasize. The emphatic part must be put between It is/ was + The emphatic part + that
1 – SUBJECT FOCUS :
It is/ was + Subject + that + verb  Chính ai đó làm gì
Example : 
1 - His son is very lovely.
=> It is his son that is very lovely.
2 - Tom worked in this factory last year.
=> It was Tom that worked in this factory last year.
2 – OBJECT FOCUS :
 It is/ was + Object + that + verb  Chính ai đó/ một cái gì đó ai đã làm
Example : 
1 - They play table tennis every day.
=> It is table tennis that they play every day.
2 - He lost his bike last week.
=> It was his bike that lost last week.
3 – ADVERBIAL FOCUS :
 It is/ was + Adverbial of place / time + that + verb 
Chính ai đó/ lúc nào đó/ ở đâu đó một cái gì đó, ai đó làm gì
Example : 
1 - They play table tennis every day.
=> It is every day that they play table tennis.
2 - He lost his bike at school last week.
=> It was at school that he lost his bike last week.

* TAG QUESTION :
Tag question is a short question is placed at the end of the statement.
Forms:
Affirmative statement, + Negative tag ?
1- 
Ex: He is a pupil, isn’t he?
 He studies well, doesn’t he?
Note : 
- Hình thức này được dùng khi người hỏi nghĩ rằng câu trả lời có thể là “Yes). Nếu bgười hỏi vì không biết rõ mà hỏi để xem có đúng không thì phải lên giọng ở cuối câu. Nếu người hỏi đã biết chắc câu trả lời rồi chỉ hỏi lấy lệ thì xuống giọng.
- Câu trả lời có thể là khẳng định hoặc phủ định.
 + Yes, he does.
 + No, he doesn’t.
- Nếu chủ ngữ của câu nói là Danh từ thì phải đổi thành Đại từ trong câu hỏi ngắn.
- Thể phủ định trong câu hỏi ngắn luôn luôn ở dạng rút gọn.
- Nếu câu nói dùng động từ đặc biệt thì động từ đó được dùng lại trong câu hỏi ngắn.
- Nếu câu nói dùng động thường thì trong câu hỏi ngắn ta phải mượn trợ động từ
