1. Structure : It is + adjective + to infinitive

 impossible It’s impossible to read your writing.

 cheap(er) It’s cheaper to go by car.

 expensive It’s expensive to go by car.

 odd/strange It ’s strange to wear raincoat while it’s sunny.

 rude It’s rude to interrupt the speaker.

Compare: Your writing is awful. It’s impossible to read. ( = read your writing )

 Your writing is impossible to read. (= not to read it)

 It’s very interesting to talk to Mary.(= talk to her)

 Mary is very interesting to talk to. ( = not to talk to her)
