1. Warm Up
Tranformations : Complete the sencond sentence so that it means the same as the first, using no more than three words.
No one was on time yesterday.
When I phoned, there was no reply.

- Listen to the teacher and write down.
- Answers:
Everyone was late yesterday.

2.2 Grammar (cont)
Indirect speech with conditional sentences.
- Ask Ss to remind of common changes made in reported speech.
- Tell Ss all these changes apply to indirect speech with conditional sentences.
+ If the report is about something which is always true, it is not necessary to change tenses.
+ If the report is about something that has immediate relevance, we usually do not change tenses.
Ask Ss to give some examples.

Exercise
- Asks them to work in pairs.
- Ask them to listen and repeat.
- Asks them to practice reading.
- Calls some to stand up and read.

I made it clear that if they didn’t refine my money, I wouldn’t have their service again.
I wondered what would happen if they didn’t deliver the package in time.
