1.Warm up:
- Divide the whole class in to 2 groups to write their different hobbies on the board. One group has a piece of blue chalk and the other red chalk.The group that has more correct answer will be the winner

2 .Pre-speaking:
a. Task 1:
 Teaching vocabulary :
- Elicit meaning, giving explanations, giving synonyms, showing pictures to teach these words:
 + mountain-climbing (n) = sport/activity of climbing mountains
 + second-hand (adj) = being used already
 + category (n) = kind/sort
 + classify (v) = divide/put into the same kind
- Call one or two Ss and ask “Which of the hobbies would you like to do?”
 “Why do you like it?”
 “Which of the hobbies wouldn’t you like to do?”
 “Why don’t you like it?”
- Ask Ss to make similar questions to their partner
- Go around to help Ss
- Ask some pairs to ask and answer
3.While-speaking:
a. Task 2:
- Give ss the dialogue in textbook without questions on the chart and give them the questions and ask them to put the questions into proper places
- Check the answers and guide ss to practice the dialogue
- Ask some pairs to practice aloud
- Correct pronunciation if necessary 
- Ask ss to open the book and underline the following information: lan’s hobby, how she collect books, where she buy book, how she organize her collection, her plan for the future
b. Task 3:
- Have Ss look at the task 3 “ What are you going to talk about?”
 “ What would you say when you want to know: your partner’s hobby, how to collect stamps, how to organize stamps, where to keep stamps, why to collect stamps, plan for the future?
- Check the answers and suggest some other ways to make questions
- Ask Ss to use the questions above and to replace the underlined part with suggestions given to make a similar dialogue

- Give the feedback by stopping the cassette where they don’t know
b. Task 2 :
- Guide the Ss the way to do this kind of exercise by asking Ss : How do we do that ?
 - Elicit : what is the part of speech of the first word? the second , the third ......
- Let Ss hear the conversation again and write the missing words 
- Play tape 1 or 2 times 
 - Call some Ss to give answer 
- Play the tape the third time 
- Give the feedback by stopping the cassette where they don’t know
- Let them listen to one more time ( if time is possible )
4. Post- listening:
-“ Do you think reading too much is good ”? Why ?
- I think that Reading too much is not very good . So We’ll talk about the disadvantages of over reading . T gives Ss a game.T divides class into 2 teams ( team A and team B ) 
- Ask Ss to work in groups of 4 to write down answers on the mini boards
- The team has more right answers is the winner
- Collect 2 quickiest papers from 2 teams and hang on the board to correct.

Now I find that watching TV enables me to learn many things .I learn a lot about how people lived in the old times. I learn about the wonders of the world , space travel , tiny viruses and other fascinating things .
TV programmes provide me with so much information and facts . I can stay stay at home and watch almost everything happen around me .
I think I will continue to watch TV because TV programmes are always usful to me .Watching TV is actually a good hobby .
