* Ask Ss to listen to each piece of song once and tell the occasion when this song is play.
The team has the faster and the correct answer will be given a mark.
The winner is the group having more marks.

- Let Ss look at the picture in the text book (p.90) to discuss the Qs given.

Run through the activities given at Tet in the textbook

*you are to read the passage and decide whether the statements are true or false.
-T asks Ss to work individually to do the task and discuss their answers with their pairs.

- Ask the whole class to read the dialogue silently and asks them what points are mentioned in the dialogue.
- Ss then practice the dialogue in pairs. T encourages Ss to remember the dialogue so that they can act out more naturally.
- Call on some pairs to act out the dialogue and give comments.

* Task 2.
Instruction:
* You are going to match the holidays with its description and activities.
- Before Ss do the task, T asks Ss to look at the three pictures on page 93 and work out the name of each holiday. Ss may be asked to give the Vietnamese equivalent to each holiday.
- T checks with the whole class and gives out the correct answers.
- Now turn to the next page and do the task in pairs. They match the holiday with its main purpose and activities.
- Call on some Ss to give their answers.
- T asks Ss which celebration they like most and what they often do during the celebrations.

* Task 3.
Instruction:
* You are going to ask and answer about the holidays in Task 2, using the dialogue in Task 1 as the model.
- T gets Ss to work in pairs to ask and answer about the holidays in Task 2.Ask Ss to add any information about the holiday they know to make the dialogue more interesting.

* Guessing game:

Among many festivals celebrated in VN, teacher’s Day is special day for teachers.
 It’s always celebrated on a fix day in November. It’s the 20TH of the month . It’s been celebrated in VN for many years to show respect and love to teachers.
On this occasion, school often have meetings for teachers and talk about Teacher’s Day. Students often give their beloved teachers flowers and beautiful wishes.
I myself enjoy the festival very much as it’s a chance for friends to gather to visit our teachers. We always have a great time.
