	1. Aim:By the end of the lesson sts will be able to write descriptions of a popular celebration in Vietnam.
	2. Lexical items: Words/ phrases related to descriptions of a popular celebration in Vietnam.
	3. Structures: The description style.
II. Teaching aids: pictures , 
III. Anticipated problems: Ss may not have sufficient vocabulary to write about the topic
IV- Procedures:
 1- Organization: 
	- Greeting and checking the sts’ attendance
	2- New lesson

-Giving instructions.
-Writing the title on the lesson on the board.
- Asking sts to choose one of celebration that they concerned and discuss about it following main points and write down drafting paper.

-Asking sts to exchange their writing and correct them.

 Unit 2 – Section D : Writing describing a celebration.
*You can write following main points:
-name of the festival
-time of the festival
-purpose of the festival
-main activities of the festival
-your felling about festival(whether you like it or not and the reasons)
2. WHILE-WRITING:
 Write a description of one of the popular celebrations in Viet Nam.
3. POST-WRITING:
Write some writing and correct
HOMEWORK :
-Write another celebration at home.
- Be ready for Section E.
