Warm Up : T asks sts to look at the pictures on page 136 and answer some questions 
How often are the Asian Games held ? (The Asian Games are held every four years )
 How many countries take part in the Asian Games ? (In the first Asian Games there were only 11 countries ,and in the 15th Asian Games in 2006 ,there were 45 countries 
what sports is Vietnam best at ?( Vietnam is best at body building ,billards and women’s karatedo 
Today we are going to read a text about the Asian Games

Task 2 (15’-17’ ): take turns to talk about the sports results or the Vietnamese athletes at 14th Asian Games ,using the information from the table below 
Prompts:
 In bodybuilding, the Vietnamese athletes won one gold medal and one bronze medal. In Billiards, they ..
V/ CONSOLIDATION : 4’-5’
Students work in groups, talking about other events the Vietnamese athletes won at the 22nd SEA Games if they know.(For example, football, swimming, running)
Teacher can help students to organize their ideas.
