REWRITE THE SENTENCES WITH IF CONDITION
I.Condition 1
-Liên từ thường gặp : or ,otherwise, and và các dấu hiệu khác.
-Modal verb: must, have to, ought to, should, had better
-Câu ra lệnh (S = you)
-Động từ “depend on” (lệ thuộc vào or, otherwise)
± Not trong mệnh đề If (nếu là or ,otherwise )
±Not cả 2 mệnh đề ( nếu là and )
EX:Y They will go on a picnic.It depends on the weather.
->If the weather is fine, they ‘ll go on a picnic.
YShe has to quit smoking or she will be die.
->If she doesn’t quit smoking , she will be die.
(viết lại vế sau ±Not mệnh đề If )
YI don’t see him and I don’t give him a gift.
-> If I see him , I will give hime a gift.
Y-Don’t study lazily or you will fail in the exam.
-> If you study lazily, you’ll fail in the exam.
Y-Keep silent or the teacher will be angry.
-> If you don’t keep silent, the teacher will be angry.
II.Conditon 2,3:
- Liên từ thường gặp :that’s why (perhaps that’s why) , because (only because, possibly because,simply because...),so,the cause
+ ‘that’s why & so” không đổi vế của câu
EX:
Y-He never does his homework alone.That’s why he can’t get good marks in this exam.
-> If he did his homework alone, he would get good marks in this exam.
Y-He had flu, so he couldn’t go to the circus with Ann.
->If he hadn’t had flu, she could have gone with Ann.
+”because” đổi vế
EX:
Y-I can’t go to school because I’m sick.
-> If I weren’t sick , I could go to school.
-Xác động từ 2 vế
-Xác định điều kiện để viết lại
+V1->Đk2 ( If S+V2/ed , S+ would +V0 )
+V2->Đk 3 ( If +S +had V3/ed, S + would have + V3/ed )
- ± NOT vào 2 vế
$ NOT có thể là:
J hardly / never F bỏ
J no one / nobody F everyone
J Tiếp đầu ngữ phủ định :UN- ;IM- ;IN -; IL -; IR- F bỏ tiếp đầu ngữ
EX:
Y-I can do nothing to help you because I’m busy.
-> If I weren’t busy, I could do something to help you.
Y-He never shaves. That’s why he looks unattractive.
-> If he shaved, he would look attractive.
Y- Nobody told me the truth, so I didn’t anything.
->If everybody had told me , I would have known something

JUnless = If ..not 
- sau unless không bao giờ có NOT
- không đổi loại điều kiện khi viết lại
EX:
Y-If the man goes in the rain, he will be ill.
-> Unless the man in thr rain, he will be ill.
JInversion:
Condition type1
-If +S+ should _V0, main clause
->Should +S+ V0, main clause
Condition type 2
-If +S+were to V,main clause
->Were +S+to V,main clause
Condition type 3
- If +S+ had +V3/ed,main clause
-> Had + S+V3/ed, main clause
EX:
Y-If there were here , they would be happy
-> Were they here, they would be happy.
J-Noun đếm được ->a/an +N
-Noun không đếm được -> bỏ ( no)
EX:
Y-I had no money. That’s why I couldn’t buy new car.
-> If I had had money, I could have bought new car .
Y- He couldn’t drive his car because he had no dring license.
-> If he had a driving license, he could have driven his car.

She has no bicycle, so she often comes to her office a little late.
