Verbs followed by the infinitive : 
Agree, arrange, decide, demand, expect, fail, force, happen, hope, learn, manage, plan, promise, refuse, seem, tend, threaten, want, wish, would like, .
Adjectives followed by the infinitive : 
Able, difficult, easy, glad, happy, important, possible, ready, sorry, sure, willing, .
Verbs + O followed by the infinitive : 
Advise, allow, ask, beg, consider, command, encourage, enable, expect, force, get, hire, invite, order, permit, persuade, recommend, remind, request, require, show, teach, tell, urge, want, warn, .
Verbs followed by the gerund : 
Admit, advise, allow, assist, avoid, consider, delay, deny, detest, dislike, encourage, enjoy, finish, go, imagine, keep, mind, miss, permit, postpone, practice, prevent, recall, recommend, suggest, understand, can’t help, can’t understand, give up, keep on, look forward to, put off, .
Expressions followed by the gerund : 
Be busy, be worth, be no good, be no use, be used to, be interested in, get used to, .
Verbs followed by either the infinitive or the gerund : 
a. remember, forget, regret :	+ To-inf : haønh ñoäng chöa xaûy ra hoaëc nhaéc nhôû thöïc hieän nhieäm vuï 
 	+ Gerund : haønh ñoäng ñaõ xaûy ra roài 
b. try :	+ To-inf : coá gaéng
+ Gerund : thöû 
	c. stop :	+ To-inf : ngöng ñeå laøm gì
+ Gerund : ngöøng haønh ñoäng
