 III. New lesson 
 1. Warm- up: 
- T hangs a picture of Cuc Phuong national park on the board and gets sts to answer these questions:
1. Which national park is it?
2. Is it one of VN’s national parks?
3. What are the special features of this national park?
- T provides sts with the handouts and has them read the passage carefully and then use the words in the box to fill in each blank.

- T gets sts to open their books and read the summary about Cat Ba National park and asks them to answer these questions:

4. What do you know about the animals and plants in Cat Ba Park ?
5.What are some of historic features of the parks?
- T gets sts to work with a partner to answer the questions. 
- T goes round to observe and offer help.
- T calls on some sts to present their answers in font of the class.
 3. Writing
- T introduces the requirement of the task
- T gets sts to use the handout and the answers they discussed to write a description of Cat Ba National Park.

 4. Feedback on sts’ writing
- T asks sts to exchange their writing with another student for peer correction.
- T goes round and collects mistakes
