Objectives : By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: - Use the present simple tense indicating the past time. - Do extra exercises by using the present simple tense indicating the past time. 2. Organization - T checks the number of students and asks Ss to make some class arrangement. II. Checking the old lesson - T calls on one student to go to the board and asks some questions about him/her. - T gives comments and marks. III. New lesson 1. Grammar : Present simple tense a. Presentation - T writes some examples on the board and underlines the verb forms. Eg: + She often gets up at 6.00. + I like learning English. + The earth moves around the sun. + The train leaves at 6.00 tomorrow. + If you work hard, you will pass the exams. + Long time ago, there is a beautiful princess whose mother died when she was born, so she lives .... - T asks sts to give comments on the verb form in these examples. - T reviews the form and use of “present simple tense” quickly. * Form: + S + V/Vs,es + O + S + don’t/doesn’t + V + O + Do/Does + S + V? * Use: “Present simple tense” is used in these cases: + Diễn tả thói quen ở hiện tại. + Diễn tả chân lý hay sự thật hiển nhiên. + Diễn tả những hành động đúng trong khoảng thời gian dài. +Dùng trong MĐ phụ câu đk loại 1. + Dùng diễn tả hành động xảy ra trong tương lai theo thời khoá biểu. + Dùng để diễn tả các việc xảy ra trong quá khứ trong bài tường thuật, kể chuyện........ b.
