My parents helped me to hold a birthday party at home. I invited a lot of friends and we had a great time. The party began at 7 p.m. We had pizzas and some special dishes that my mom cooked. Then mom brought out a beautiful cake, decorated with fruits and 17 colourful candles in the middle. As I blew out the candles, my friends and family sang the “Happy birthday” song. They clapped their hands happily, as I could blow out the candles at a go. Then mom cut the cake and we had it, together with cheesecake, fruit juice. Dad played guitar and sang me a beautiful song. My friends also sang along and danced. The party ended at 8:30 because some of my friends live in the suburb and they needed to catch the 8:45 bus.
