Warm-up & lead-in (7’) Games: Sport silhouettes - stick 15 circles (different colors) which are marked from 1 to 15 corresponding to 12 sports (Appendix) and three lucky numbers (4,7.15) at the back on the board. - Divide the class into two groups, Hand and Foot. - Each group takes turns to choose a circle and name the sport based on the picture. One correct answer gains the group one point. If the number is a lucky number, the group gains two bonus points only to choose again! - Play continues until all the numbers are chosen. - Keep a running total of points for each group on the board. - the group with more points wins - tell SS that these are some popular sports and ask if SS like sports.
