- T checks the number of students in class and asks Ss to make some class - arrangement. 
 II. Checking the old lesson
- T calls one student to read paragraph 1 of the text and translate it into Vietnamese.
- T calls another student to read paragraph 2 of the text and translate it into Vietnamese.
- T gives remarks and marks
 III. New lesson 
 1. Warm- up
- T shows some pictures about famous astronauts and ask sts to answer the questions
1. Who are they?
2. What are their nationalities?
- T calls some pairs to ask and answer.

- T leads to the next part.
 2. Task 1
- T asks 1 student to read the requirement of the task loudly and explain what they have to do.
- T explains more to make it clear to all students in class.
- T gets sts to study the passage carefully.
- T teaches sts how to pronounce some words
- T gets sts to work in pairs to ask and answer like this: 
A: When did China launch its first spacecraft into space?
B: on October 15th 2003
A: What was the spacecraft called?
B: Shenzhou 5

- T goes around, controls and helps.
- T calls some pairs to ask and answer as example.
 3. Task 2
- T tells sts what they have to do in this task: Make questions and answers about the important events in space conquest.
- T teaches some new words and phrases.
- T gets one student and makes a model.
T: When did Russian launch its first artificial satellite?
St: on October 4th, 1957
T: What is the name of the satellite?
St: Sputnik
T: How important was the satellite to Russian?
St: It marked the beginning of space age.
- T gets sts to work in pairs, asking and answering the questions with other imformation.
- T goes around to observe.
- When Ss have finishes, T calls on some pairs to act out the dialogue and gives comment.
