I. Warm- up (5ms)
-greets Ss
-has a short chat with Ss
II. Checking up Previous knowledge ( no checking because the lesson is long)
III. Content of the lesson (35ms)
Tenses of Verbs
	1. The simple present tense
 S + Vs / es	The earth moves around the sun.
	2. The simple past tense
 S + V 2 / ed	I went to my teacher’s house last Sunday. 
	3. The simple future tense
 S + will / shall + Vbare inf	We will try my best to get the scholarship. 
	4. The present continuous tense
 S + is / am /are +Ving	She is studying now.
	5. The past continuous tense
 S + was / were +Ving	At 8 o’clock yesterday he was watching T.V 
	7. The present perfect tense
 S + have / has +V 3 / ed	They have just finished their work. 
	8. The past perfect tense
 S + had +V 3 / ed	 When I came to the station, the train had left.
	9. Be going to + Vbare inf	The sky is so cloudy and windy. It is going to rain
Relative Clauses
I like the book which/ that I bought yesterday.
She is the girl who/ that often helps me.
This is the woman whose boy is intelligent.
Mr Pike, whom / who you met yesterday, is my uncle.
Conditional clauses
Type I: Future possible 
If I: dieãn taû ñieàu kieän coù theå xaûy ra hay coù theå thöïc hieän ôû hieän taïi hoaëc töông lai.
 If clause	 ,	 Main clause
 IF + S + V- present tense , S + WILL + V-bare Inf
	 Imperative or Request
	Ex:
 1. If I have money , I will buy a new house.
 2. If the water boils , please make me a tea.
Type II: Present unreal condition 
	If II: dieãn taû ñieàu kieän khoâng coù that hoaëc traùi ngöôïc vôùi hieän taïi hoaëc töông lai.
 If clause	 ,	 Main clause
 IF + S + V-past subjunctive , S + Would + V-bare Inf
	 ( + simple past 
	 + To be= WERE)
	Ex:
 1. If I had money , I would buy that house.
 2. If I were you , I would win the game.
Type III: Past unreal condition 
	If III: dieãn taû ñieàu kieän traùi ngöôïc vôùi quaù khöù.
 If clause	 ,	 Main clause
 	IF + S + V-past perfect , S + Would + have + P.P
	Ex: 
	 1. If I had had money , I would have bought that house.
 2. If I had played tennis , I would have won.
Infinitive and Gerund
