STUDYING IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
Rachel Chang, Ritsuko Suzuki, and Evandro Ferreirra all have something in common. They are all going to study in another country.
Rachel is 22 and lives in Taipei, Taiwan. At the moment, she’s studying at Soochow University School of Law. “When I finish this program,” she said. “I’m going to study law in the US- at the University of California Law School at Berkeley. It’s very expensive. My family is helping me, but it’s going to be hard for them. I’m a little bit worried.
Ritsuko is 24 and lives in Osaka, Japan. She has a degree in business study and works for and electronic company. “I’m going to go to business school,” she said. “There’s a really interesting one at the University of Sydney in Australia. “ I’m going to study there next year. But I have a problem- my parents aren’t happy about this idea!”
Evandro, 25, is from Recife, on the northeast coast of Brazil. He is in an IT program at the University of São Paulo. “Next year, I’m going to study computers in another country,” he said. “ I don’t know where- but I think Canada and Germany are interesting places.
