LESSON PLAN Unit7: World population Speaking 1. Class description: - 40 students (Ss) in 11A2 class at Ngo Thi Nham high school 2. Level: - Intermediate 3. Time: 45 m 4. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: talk about the causes of population explosion, problems of population booms and solutions to these problems. 5. Assumed knowledge: - Ss have already known some vocabulary items related to the topic. 6. Anticipated problem(s): - There may be lack of time, so the teacher (T) can cut down amount of time to do task 4. - There may be time left, so the teacher (T) should spend more time for Ss doing task 4. - Ss may not have enough vocabulary to talk about the topic, so T should be ready to provide help. 7.
