- Show Ss the photos of Solar panels and some robots (Handout 1) and asks them:
+ What are they? + What are they used for?
- Has a talk with Ss about uses of these things now and in the future. - Inform the class of the lesson objectives and leads to the lesson.
- Ss’ answers may vary.
- Suggested answer: 
They are Solar panels and some robots.
B. KNOWLEDGE FORMATION ACTIVITIES (5 ms) - Activity. Listen and read. (5 ms)

To help Ss practice some skills (reading and listening)
- Ask Ss to read the heading and guess what the two speakers will be talking about.
- Play the recording twice.
- Listen and read the conversation silently.

- Ss both read and listen to the conversation between Phong, Chi and Ha
- Ss can predict the content of the conversation.
C. PRACTICE ACTIVITIES - Activity 1. Answer the questions (10 ms)

- Skills: Integrated skills.(- To promote Ss to develop the skill of working in pairs and groups)
- Attitude: To encourage Ss to work harder, to provide Ss some motivation
