I. Warm up

- Read the pasage and then decide whether the statements are true or false:
Pam and Sara have been best friends ever since they were at junior school. They always go round together. Sometimes people are surprised because they are different. Sara is quite quiet, whereas Pam is outgoing and talks a lot. pam has a great sense of humour and always sees the funny side of things. Like for example, the other day, sara had had a bad day at sholl and she was feeling down-she is a bit moody sometimes. anyway, pam told Sara a jokes that she heard on the radio, and made her laugh so much. That's what Sara values most about Pam.
There's also something else that is really special about their friendship. last year, Pam was about to go on aholiday when Sara had an accident and broke her leg. Her leg was in plaster and she couldn't move. pam decided to cancel the holiday and keep Sara company instead of going on holiday. Sara was so moved Because Pam put their friendship first. and Sara knows her best friend is always there for her.
