Lesson 2. Infinitive and gerund
* Aims and Requirement
- Sts know how to use and practise the infinitive and gerund in the context
* Language focus
- Form and use of the infinitive and gerund 
- Sts can know some uses of the two tenses in some way.

Procedure
I. Warm up
- Sts look at the hand out and find out V+to V and V+ Ving:
Want, neet, like, enjoy, be interested in, can't stand, avoid, remember, forget, regret, agree.
- T goes around the class to check and help some sts.
- Some sts present and give examples
- Other comment.
- T comments and corrects: 
1. V+to V : want, neet, agree
2. V+ Ving: the rest

 Yuri was in his first year at university, studying history. He was rather a lazy student, and he tended to avoid (work)..........whenever he could. In the middle of the semester, his History professor gave out an assignment, due in two weeks.
