- T shows a picture of the “Road to Olympia” Quiz and elicits questions, Ss listen and answer the questions
- What is this competition?
- Who is this competition for?
- Where does it take place?
- Do you like this game? Why/Why not?
PRESENTATION:
1. Pre – speaking.
Task 1: Which competition/contest do you like or dislike? Compare your answers with a partner’s.
- Explain some new words.

- Call on different pars to report their answers.
- Encourage them to explain why they like or dislike a game / contest.
2. While – speaking 
Task 2: Ask your partner how she feels about each type of the competitions/contests in task 1 basing on the useful language.
- Introduce the task. Call some pairs to read aloud the sample dialogue.
- Elicit the structures that are used for asking for and giving opinion about contest.
- Write the structures on the B. B 
- Ss work in pairs to ask about their choices.

- Ask Ss to work in group of 4 and tell each group to talk about a competition or contest they have recently seen on TV or joined based on the guided questions in textbooks.
- Call some Ss to report their task, correct mistakes and give comment.

- T sticks the cards on the board and asks Ss to reorder them in right positions as a complete letter on a blank poster.
- T plays a cassette player and the game will end when the music stops.
- The winner will be the one who has more cards put in the right positions.
