II. New lesson: 1- Warm- up: - T gives some questions then asks Sts to answer them. 1. What do you do in your free time? 2. Preparing Ss to write: - T asks Ss to open the textbook. - T gets Ss to read the activities silently and work out which activity matches with which picture. - T asks Ss to work in pairs doing the matching. - T calls on some Ss to do the matching orally. - T checks the answer with the whole class. - T asks Ss to have a look at the pictures one more to understand more. - T may provide Ss with some new words if necessary. 10mins - open the textbook - read the task - doing the matching - listen to the T and take notes - listen to the T and copy down the new words and structures Writing: - T gets Ss to plan their description according to the suggestions at their desk, then compare and check with a peer. - T goes around to check and offer help. - T collects some outlines and provides corrective feedback. T provides more relevant vocabulary and structures if necessary. - T gets Ss to write their own description in 10 minutes. - T then gets Ss to exchange their descriptions in pairs and do peer correction. - T goes around to offer help. - T chooses one description and reads it to the class while other one S writes on the board. - T elicits corrective feedback from the class and gives final comments afterwards.
