STABILIZATION(1minute) - Greeting B. CHECK UP(3minutes) - Call student to write the new words on the board in reading part. C. Iran - Teacher shows pictures about flags of countries on slide. - Ask student to work in pairs to math the flags with the correct countries. - Call student to say out answers. - Check with the class. - Teacher leads to new lesson: Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and Chinaare countries which held the Asian Games. Today we say more about Asian Games. D NEW LESSON I. Pre speaking(8 minutes) 1. Useful language: - Use Simple past tense to talk about the events in the past. - Passive voice can be used to talk about the year the Asian Games took place. E.g.: The first Asian Games was held in 1951 in New Delhi, India. 2. Task 1: Talking about the Asian Games, using the information from the table below.(p.139) Ex: A: When and where were the 1st Asian Games? B: They were held in 1951 in India. A: How many countries took part in the Games? B: Eleven countries took part in the Games. A: How many sports were there at the Games? B: There were six sports at the Games. II. While speaking(12minutes) Task 2: Talking about the sports results of the Vietnamese athletes at 14th Asian Games, using the information from the table below.(p.140) III.
