Objectives : By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: - Use the relative pronouns with prepositions correctly in related contexts. - Do exercises related to the relative pronouns when use with the prepositions. 2. Organization - T checks the number of students and asks Ss to make some class arrangement. II. Checking the old lesson - T calls on one student to go to the board and asks some questions about him/her. - T gives comments and marks. III. New lesson 1. Grammar : Relative pronouns with prepositions a. Presentation - T writes two examples about the relative pronouns with the prepositions on the board and asks sts to comment on them. Eg: - She is the woman to whom I gave the money. - The book about which you are talking is very interesting. - T elicits the comments from sts and makes clear that: + Khi giới từ nằm ở cuối mệnh đề chúng ta có thể bỏ ĐTQH khi nó giữ choc năng làm tân ngữ và có thể dùng “that” thay cho “who” và “which” trong MĐQH giới hạn. + Khi giới từ nằm ở trước các ĐTQH thì chúng ta không được lược bỏ ĐTQH và không được dùng “who” và “that”. - T gets sts to make more examples like that. b. Practice - T distributes sts some handouts and asks them to combine the sentences. - T gets sts to share their answers. - T checks and gives final comments. IV.
