- Nghe hiểu đoạn văn nói về các hoạt động tự nguyện của 1 trường phổ thông ở Việt Nam.

b. Về kỹ năng: Rèn cho HS kỹ năng

- Nghe để điền các thông tin còn thiếu

- Nghe và trả lời câu hỏi

- Nghe và tóm tắt bài nghe theo gợi ý cho trước

c. Về thái độ

- HS tham gia công việc tình nguyện, yêu thích môn học và hứng thú học tập

2.Chuẩn bị của GV và HS

a. Chuẩn bị của GV:Giáo án, SGK, Tapescript.

b. Chuẩn bị của HS:SGK, SBT, chuẩn bị bài

3. Tiến trình bài dạy

II. Before you listen(10’) 
Discussing the questions 
T asks Ss to read through the questions and choices on page 51 and makes sure Ss understand all them.
T asks Ss to discuss the questions in pairs.
T calls on some Ss to report on their partner’s anwsers.

 T teaches some of these words and those taken from the listening passage :

III. While you listen (15’)
Task 1 Filling 
You are going to listen to the passage and fill in the missing information in each sentence .
- T asks them to read the sentences and underline key words.
- T reads the tapescript twice for Ss to do the task 
- T asks for Ss’ answers and write them on the board .
- T reads the tapescript one more time for Ss to check their answers .
- T gives the correct answers :

Task 2: Answering the question 
 Before Ss listen to the tape . T may ask them to read the sentences and try to answer with the things they remember from the previous times of listening .
T reads the tape again for Ss to do the task (2 times)
After reading the tape , T gets Ss to wok in pairs and exchange their answers and check their answers .
T calls on some Ss to give their answers 
T checks and give feedback and the correction
- Individual work , group work and whole class
- Read the sentences and do the task
- Listen to the tape then do the task
- Give sugg ested answers in front of the class
