- Show Sts the way of reading these new words.
- Check Sts in reading again.
- T introduces the main

- Ask Sts to make more examples by using main structures .
- Check Sts in each sentence .
- Show Sts the way of reading the text . 
- Sts pracise reading themselves 
- Check Sts in reading at last.
- Sts answer some questions 
- Repeat main grammar.
I. New words:

II. Grammar: 
 Use had better do sth 
1, If we advise sb to do sth we should use :
 S + had better + V (inf) ..
 ( had better = 'd better )
Eg : You had better get up early .
 You 'd better listen to the teacher carefully .
2, If we advise sb not to do sth we should use :
 S + had better not + V(Bare inf) ..
Eg : You 'd better not smoke in the room .
 You 'd better not stay up late .
3, Note : We only use this structure at present time .
4, Wh-q : What + had + S + V (inf.) / not V(inf.) ?
 Eg : What had we better do in the morning ?
 We 'd better get up early .
4, The tag- question in past time :
 S + Ved / V(irre) + (O) , didn't + S ?
 Or S + didn't + V(inf .) + (O), did + S?
Eg : She went to school , didn't she ?

 Use since and for in sentences :
* For is used with a period of time 
Egs : for five hours , for thirty years , for ten minutes 
 We have lived in Lao Cai for 2 years .
* Since is used with a point of time and means "from that point to the time of speaking".
Eg : since 1972 , since five o'clock , since January 
 We have lived here since 2004 .
* Use the verb Be in sentence in present perfect .
Egs : I've been here since last Tuesday .

 I've been a worker since 1990 .
 P.P + n : lµ
Egs : I've been a pupil since 1990 .
 I've been a pupil for 17 years .
* Make question for since and for:

What does he always advise you?
 - He always advised us that we'd better get up early and revise our lessons in the morning.

Translate into English:
