I. OBJECTIVES

Aims: - Ss can ask and answer about past experience and influences on one’s life.

 - Use these structures to talk about a past experience and how it affects their life.

Lexical item:- words and phrases related to the personal experience.

Structures:- present perfect and past simple, structure with “ make’’.

Teaching aids: - Textbook, sub-board, handout.

I. OBJECTIVES
Aims: - Ss can ask and answer about past experience and influences on one’s life.

1. Warm-up
- Asks to answer some questions.
1. Have you had some personal experiences yet?
2. What were they?
3. Have you ever speak English to a native English speaker? 
4. How did you feel when you meet her/him?
- Calls on some Ss to answer.
- Feedbacks and give correct answer.
- Listen.
- Answer freely.
- Listen and compare.
2. Before you Speak:
Task 1: Matching
- Introduces the task and gets Ss to do it individually, then compare the answers with a peer.
- Walks around the class to help when necessary.
- Calls a student to read out his/ her answers.
- Correct answers.
Introduces or elicits the structures “ make somebody do something’’ or “ make somebody + adjective’.
- Writes the structures on the board and elicits their meaning and uses. 
- Gets Ss to make sentences with the structures.
- Listen and individual work.
- Compare the answer with friends.
- Read aloud the answers.

- Make the sentences.
+ He made me more interested in learning English.

+ To have a 15 mile walk, then climb three mountains make you feel tired.
3. While you speak:
Task 2
- Introduce the situation:
A student is talking to her friend about one of her past experiences and how it effected her. The lines in their conversation are jumbled. Put them in the correct order, then practice the dialogue.
- Asks Ss read careful sentences.
- Guides Ss to do.
- Asks Ss to work in pair, discuss and arrange the correct sentences, then practice the dialogue. 
- Walks around to help Ss when necessary.
- Calls some Ss to give their answer.
- Feedbacks and give correct answer.
- - Asks Ss to practice the dialogue in front of the class.
- Work in pairs. 
- Compare the answer with friends.
- Read aloud the answers.
- Answer.

- Practice the dialogue in front of the class in pairs.
4. After you speak.
Task 3
- Asks Ss to underline the structures used to talk about past experiences in the dialogue in task 2, then use the structures and the ideas in task 1 to make similar dialogue.
- Asks Ss to work in group for about personal experiences.
Useful structures:
+ Have you ever?
+ How did it happen?
+ When did it happen?
+ How did the experience affect?
- Walks around the class to help when necessary.
- Calls on some Ss to answer.
- Feedbacks and give correct answer.
5. Homework.
- Asks Ss to write a similar dialogue in task 2 and practice speaking.
- Asks Ss to prepare Listening.
- Underline the structures used to talk about past experiences in the dialogue in task 2, then use the structures and the ideas in task 1 to make similar dialogue.
- Listen and prepare the dialogue.
A: The famous singer?
B: That’s right. Have you ever met her?
A: Yes, I have. In one of her show in Ho Chi Minh City last year. She is very charming.
B: Yeah. She sings beautiful, too.
A: Have you ever been to Ho Chi Minh City?
B: No, I’ve never been there.
A: You should go there sometime. t’s an interesting city and the hotels are wonderful.
