Aims :
By the end of the lesson, the students are able to read for specific information.

1. Warm-up & lead-in

checking vocabulary : gap-filling
- Give SS handouts and ask them to work in pairs , completing the sentences , using the words just learned.
- Ask Ss to choose either a or b to complete the sentences below 
- Ask Ss to work with a partner and compare answers.
- Call on Ss to read the statements and say their choice.

- What are the messages of Asian Games ?
- What does the warmth of the Asian Games come from?
Transition: to understand the lesson more clearly , today we’ll learn Comprehension of the text.

Reading the text again
- ask two students to read the two parts of the text loudly , The rest follow in their book
- while reading, T corrects them about errors of pronouncing.
- after each student finish a paragraph , ask him / her to summarize the main content of the paragraph in Vietnamese.

Activity 1: continue to do gap-filling
- give SS handouts and ask them to work in pair, completing the sentences, using the words just learned
- after 5 minutes, asks each student to do each sentence
- correct them.
Activity 2: table completion(task a, p.153)
- T ask Ss to read the text and find the answers to the questions.
- Tell Ss to work with a partner, asking ans answering the questions.
- Call on some pairs to ask and answer ans check with the class.
Activity 3: discussion (task c, textbook p. 153)
- ask SS to work in groups of 4 discussing the two questions in textbook
- go around giving help if necessary
- call on some SS to give the answers
- invite class opinions and give feedback
