- call on a St to rearrange in order.

Transition: last time we studied components of and a biography; and words and phrases for writing a biography. Today we’ll how to write a complete a biography.

Activity 1: presenting an outline again ( quickly)
- elicit what to be included in a biography from SS:
Name, date, and place of birth, his or her family, social, cultural. Educational background
- tell SS that a biography is normally organized in chronological, i.e. in the order of time that the events take place.

Prompt – based writing : 
- arrange SS into groups of four
- give each group some prompts given to write complete sentences, then add suitable connectors to link those sentences into a paragraph.
- go around to monitor the class and give help where needed.
- ask group representatives to read out their paragraphs.
- call on SS to write the sentences up on the board.
- tell SS that the completed paragraphs will make up a biography about A. Graham Bell
- Elicit the order of the paragraphs
- invite class opinions and make corrections in front of the whole class.
