- Gives and explains the meaning of new words.

- Listen and write new words.

* Act 1:
- Asks Ps to read the passage silently and make up the questions.

- Walk around the class and if necessary.
- Calls on some Ps to read aloud their answers.
- Gives correct answers:
* Act 2:
- Asks Ps to read the passage again and work in groups and answer the questions.
- Walk around the class and if necessary.
- Calls on some Ps to read the answers in front of the class.
- Controls and corrects.
- Give correct answer
3. While reading.
- Read the passage silently and make up the questions.
- Suggested.
1. Who was M. Faraday?
2. was he born in a poor or rich family?
3. Why did he have to work hard?
4. Who was Humphry Davy?
 - Read aloud their answers in front of 
the class
- Answer the questions.

- Read the answers in front of the class.
4. Post - reading.
* Act 1:
- Ask Ps to read the passage again and find the sentences with relative adverb “WHOSE”
- Guide Ps to find.
- Explain to use “WHOSE”.
+ I met the man who knows you.
+ I met the man whose sister knows you.
- Ask Ps to make up some sentences.
- Calls on some Ps to read the answers in front of the class.
- Controls and corrects.
* Act 2:
- Ask Ps to retell the main content of the passage.
- Help Ps to do the task.
- Check some Ps.
4. Post- reading.
- Read the passage again and find the sentences with relative adverb “WHOSE”
- Listen and write
- Make up some sentences.
- Read their sentences in front of the class.
- Retell the main content of the passage.
- Read it in front of the class.
5. Homework.
- Asks Ps to learn new words by heart and summarize the main content of the passage.
- Learn new words and summarize the main content of the passage.
