Anticipated problems:

 Ss maybe find difficult to do the exercise. Careful instruction is needed to make sure ss get the ideas crossed.

- Ask ss to review the grammar of relative clause replaced by participles and to infinitives.
- Review
 Participles---- Present: V-ing 
 Past: V-ed/V3
 To infinitives---- to V
-Eg:
 a, The boy who is standing there is my younger brother.
= The boy standing there is my younger brother.
b, Jack was the last person who came to the party.
= Jack was the last person to come to the party 
- Call 1student to read the instruction of Task a. Explain by Vietnamese if necessary.
- Gives ss 5 minutes to work in pairs and do the Task.
Check:
1,In this town, there are several restaurants offering Sunday lunches.
2, Mr. Jackson is always the last person to give his opinion at the meeting.
3, Children brought up in the city are very curious about farm animals.
4, He said something that I can’t agree with.
5, This is the house where/ in which I grew up.
6, I know very little about electronics, which I’ll have to take next term.

All the class divides into 2 groups- nought group and cross group, if the team get the word right, write nought or cross in the relevant space. They have 12 spaces to choose and play as a chess match.
