 * Greeting the students and asking them something about the attendance , their health, the weather and preparation

* Hanging on poster with the following words: house / holiday / library / lemonade / hospital / husband /ready / really / restaurant / like /lonely / lunch.
* Asking the sts to look at the words on the poster, choose five words and write them down on a piece of paper.
* Reading the words aloud for sts to cross out all the five words they have chosen.
* Asking the sts to give some more words having the same initial sounds as the words on the posters.
* Introducing the sounds /l/, /r/, /h/.
* Emphasizing on the Ss’ answers and then introducing the new lesson

Game : Lucky Numbers
* Diving the class into two groups 
* Telling the students they have 9 numbers. Each group in turn chooses the numbers and makes a sentence with the cues given. If the group has a correct answer or a lucky number, they earn one point. If the group can’t give the correct answer to get the point, the other group can answer. The group with more points wins the game (Lucky numbers are 4,6,9)
