A. Aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

Activity: “Wonderful place”
 1. Ha Long Bay 
* In 1994, it was a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
* It also marked important events in the history of Vietnam with many artifacts found in Bai Tho Mountain, Dau Go Cave, Bai Chay.
* It is located in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam.
 2. Eiffel tower 
* It surpassed the Washington Monument to become the tallest man-made structure in the world.
* It has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognisable structures in the world.
* It is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France.
 3. Statue of liberty 
* It was dedicated on October 28, 1886.
* The torch-bearing arm was displayed at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia in 1876, and in Madison Square Park in Manhattan from 1876 to 1882.
* It became an icon of freedom and of the United States, seen as a symbol of welcome to immigrants arriving by sea.
4. Great pyramid 
* It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.
* It was built as tombs for their royal families over 4000 years ago.
* It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. 
- Teacher asks students to work individually.
