- T checks the number of students and asks Ss to make some class arrangement.

 - The monitor reports the number of students in his/her class to the teacher.
II. Checking the old lesson:
- T asks 2 Ss to complete the following sentences:
+ How/ about/ go to the cinema/ tonight//?
+ Would/ you/ like/ have/ cold drink//.
+ .....................................
- T comments and gives marks

- listen to the T’s remarks. 
III. New lesson: 
 1- Warm- up:
- T gets Ss to play a game.
- T divides the class into 2 teams and then asks each team to find as many words as possible consisting of the clusters / /, / /, 
- which team finds more words than the other will be the winner.
T leads Ss to the new lesson.

2. Pronunciation:
 - T demonstrates the clusters / /, / / and / / by pronouncing them clearly and slowly.
- T reads aloud the words once or twice. 
- T asks Ss to pronounce and repeat the words several times. 
- T plays the tape and asks Ss to repeat.
- T calls on some Ss to repeat the sounds clearly to the class.
- T asks Ss to work in pairs and practise the sentences.
- T goes around the class and provides help if necessary.

3. Grammar:
Presentation
- T writes some sentences on the board and asks Ss to comment on the use of one(s), someone, no one, anyone, and everyone.
+ I don’t like the red shirt; I prefer the blue one.
+ Don’t buy the sour oranges. Buy the sweet ones.
+ There’s someone waiting for the director in the office.
+ Did someone call me last night?
+ Have you met anyone like him?
+Don’t tell anyone my secret.
+ No one likes her story.
+ Everyone laughs at him.
- Ss works in pairs to work out the use of the pronouns. 
- T checks with the whole class, making clear that:
+ One and ones are used to replace a previously mentioned noun when we do not want to repeat that noun. One replaces a singular noun, and ones replaces a plural noun.
+ someone=somebody. It used with a singular verb in an affirmative statement or a question when the speaker expects the ‘yes’ answer.
+ Anyone=everybody. It usually goes with a singular verb. It is used to refer to every person or all people. 
T asks Ss to work individually doing exercise 1.
- T has Ss compare their answers with a friend.
- T calls on some Ss to give their answers.
- T feedbacks and gives correct answers:

T asks Ss to do exercise 2.
- T tells Ss to compare their answers with a friend.
- T checks the answers as the whole class.

- T calls on some Ss to read their sentences aloud in front of the class.
