- Instruct Ss how to do this kind of exercise:
- Play the tape once for Ss to do the task.
- Ask for Ss’ answers and writes them on the board.
- Play the tape the second time for Ss to check their answers.
- Ask Ss to work in groups of 4 to compare their answers.
- Check Ss’ answers by calling on some Ss . If many Ss cannot complete the sentences, T plays the tape one or two times and pauses at the answers for them to catch.
- Give the correct answers:

- Check if Ss can answer the questions in Task 2 without listening again. If they can’t cannot, T plays the tape for them to listen again but before doing this, T should encourage Ss to read through all the questions.
- Play the tape again for Ss to listen and answer the questions.
- Get Ss to check their answers with a partner, then T checks with the whole class. T should play the tape again and pause at difficult points if many Ss cannot complete the task.

Suppose Vietnam is going to host the coming Asian Games . What will we have to do to prepare for the Game?

4.What will we have to equip the hotels and guest houses with? What for?
5 Which form of mass media will be used to advertise all the preparations for the Games?

 To prepare for the coming AsianGames, we will have a lot of things to do.
First of all, we will build one more National stadium, some sports buidings and car parks. The National Sports centres and local stadiums are not in good condition so they need to be upgraded. And we will widen the training areas the roads and the sports buidings. Then we have to equip all the hotels and guest houses with modern facilities to welcome foreign athletes and visitors. The hotels should also have special service for disable athletes. It's necessaryto promote and advertise all the preparations fior the Asian Games on the radio and television. Finally we need to recruit volunteers to serve the Games. The people should be university teachers and students with good English. One more important thing is that we will have to hold a competition to choose an official music for welcoming the Asian Games.

 - Students have a revision on the relative clauses and know how to omit relative pronouns in the sentences.

 - Vocabulary : Words contain the three sounds /str/, /skr/ and /skw/.
 - Structures : Relative clauses with or without relative pronouns.

- Read the words containing these sounds ( word by word) and lets Ss repeat in chorus first and individually later.
3. Controlled-practice:
 ( give the numbers for the three sounds above so that Ss can do the task more easily and faster)
- Ask Ss to work in pairs first to find out the right number for the words that have the sounds /str/ (1), /skr/(2), /skw/ (3)
- Ask some Ss to read the sentences so that others can hear and choose 1 or 2 or 3 for the responding sounds.
- Read loudly the sentences and emphasizes the stress in the sentences once more to give feedback.
4. Free-practice:
- Provide some more sentences and ask Ss to practise:
The strong boy ate an ice-scream in the street.
Don’t scream when squeezing that blue screen.
The strange man in the square is very strong.
Go straight ahead to see a stream.
This structure is strange to me. 
GRAMMAR
Presentation:
- Give two separate sentences and asks Ss to combine them into one using a relative pronoun ,and then gives another sentence without changing the meaning.( the relative pronoun is omitted)
- Underline the relative clause in the two sentences and asks Ss give their comment on the structure, the kind of word of the relative pronouns, the position of the preposition.
 * Example1:
 T : She is the girl. She want to meet me.
P : She is the girl who want to meet me.

 T: She is the girl. I want to talk to her .
P : She is the girl whom I want to talk to.

- Explain, emphasizes once more by diagrams and lets Ss take notes:
Note :
Relative pronouns as Objects can be omitted.
Relative pronouns as Subjects can not be omitted.
The position of the prep. will remain unchange if the relative pronouns are omitted.
