I. OBJECTIVES
Aims:

- Pronounce the words and sentences containing these sounds correctly.
- Tense revision: The past simple, past progressive and past perfect.

Structure:
- Use some structures past tenses.

2. Check the old lesson.

1. Warm-up
- Instructs the three sounds. / m / - /n / - /h / for a few times and explains the differences. 
- Writes words on the board and for Ss realize the words contain the sound above.
Mountain, nest, banana, king, mummy, knife, angle.
- Instruct the new lesson.
2. Pronunciation
- Instructs and read three sounds /m /-/n/- / h /.
- Asks Ss to repeat them.
Listen and repeat.
- Guides and asks Ss to practice the words have the sounds in the book.
Practice reading aloud these sentences.
- Reads aloud the sentences then Ss to listen and choose.
- Ask Ss to listen and decide if the word belonging groups /m /-/n/- / h /.
- Walks around the class to help when necessary.
- Suggested answer.
3. Grammar
- Reviews the forms, meaning and uses of the present simple, present perfect and present continuous.
Present simple:
+ Form: 
Verb + s/ es for he, she, it .
Bare infinitive for I, we, you, they.
+ Meaning: present time.
+ Use: 
Past simple:
Form: Verb + ed, past
Meaning: past time
Use: 
Present continuous:
Form: am/ is/ are/ + v- ing
Meaning: present time
Use:
Past continuous:
Form: Was/ Were + Verb-ing
Meaning: past time
Use: 
Present perfect:
Form: Have / has + past participle.
Meaning: present
Use:
5. Exercises 
Exercise 1
* Use the correct present tense forms of the verbs in brackets in the story below.
- Guides Ss to do exercise
- Asks Ss to work individual.
