2) How many countries took part in the Games?
3) How many sports were competed at the Games?

Task 1
- Introduce: The years held the Asian Games in countries.
- Asks Ss to work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about the Asian Games, using the information from the table below.
- Guides Ss to make some strategies and give example.
A: When and where were the 1th Asian Games held?
B: They were held in 1951 in India.
A: How many countries took part in the Games?
B: Six took part in the Games.
A: How many sports were there at the Games?
B: There were six sports 
- Asks Ss to look at sample and work in pairs.
- Walks around the class to help when necessary.
- Asks Ss to compare the dialogged with friends.
- Calls Ss to practice the following pairs in front of the class and give opinions.

- Listen
- Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about the Asian Games, using the information from the table below.
A: When and where were the 2th Asian Games held?
B: They were held in 1954 in Philippines.
A: How many countries took part in the Games?
B: Eighteen took part in the Games.
A: How many sports were competed at the Games?
B: There were eight sports 
- Practice the dialogged in front of the class.

*Introduce: Medals won by Vietnam (at 14th Asian Games held in Busan, Korea)
- Asks Ss to work in pairs. Take turns to talk about the sports results of the Vietnamese athlete at 14th Asian Games, using the information from the table.
- Guides Ss to make some strategies and give example.
+ In bodybuilding, the Vietnamese athletes won one gold medal and one bronze medal
- Asks Ss to look at sample and work in pairs.
- Walks around the class to help when necessary.
- Asks Ss to compare the dialogged with friends.
- Calls Ss to practice the following pairs in front of the class and give opinions.
