I. STABILIZATION:

 Do greeting and check Ss’ attendance.

II. CHECK- UP:

- ask Ss to turn in their writing.

- Check, give feedback and mark.

AIMS:
By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
- Distinguish the three sounds: / l /, / r /, and / h/.
- Pronounce the words and sentences containing these the sounds correcttly.
- Distinguish the uses of infinitive and gerund in active and passive voices.
- Use these structures to solve communicative tasks.
TEACHING AIDS:

PROCEDURE:

A. PRONUNCIATION
WARM- UP:
Hang on a posters with the following words: 
Game: BINGO
house / holiday / library / lemonade / hospital / husband / ready / really / restaurant / like / lovely / lunch.
Ask Ss to look at the words on the poster, choose five words and write them down on a piece of paper.
Read the words aloud for Ss to cross out.
Ask Ss to say BINGO if they have crossed out all the five words they have chosen.
Ask Ss to give some more words having the same initial sounds as the words on the posters.
Declare the winner.
Lead in to the new lesson.

Listen to the T.
Do as required.
PRE- PRACTICE:
Guide Ss how to pronounce these sounds.
Ask them listen and repeat.
Call on some Ss to repeat and correct them if necessary.

ask Ss to listen to and repeat after the tape.
Call on 3 Ss to read lines of this part. Each Student reads 2 lines.

Call on some Ss to go to the board to write down.
